Where can I get new ones from? Its the part which goes inside the front wing which the headlight assembly screws into. ESM do complete kits which I would rather not buy, and they don't appear to include these rings anyway. Do they come on new wings. Mine were bodged, as can be seen by the headlight section I cut out on Saturday, shown below:[frame][/frame]

Not aware of these as a separate part...

they used to be available for austin 1100/1300 and ford 105e and a lot of austin / morris / wolsley models had them , there are some on ebay but pricey , item no 290877987358 , try a few panel companys

The complete headlight bowl is available in plastic, I don't know if this replaces the metal ring.

If you buy new wings they should come with the rings attached.

i think you are right make them , i have just looked up a couple of panel suppliers and 15.00 ea cheapest and 18 .34 ea :plus vat !!! a lot for a simple item

You can certainly get new ones from MG spares suppliers - a customer supplied a new pair for me to repair his MGB wings. As its standard 7" Lucas headlamp the same part would fit Minor wings. Not a part #I would bother making for that price - its fairly thick steel, flanged on internal and external edges with 4 2BA captive nuts. Doable if you had to but easier just to buy 'em when needed...

You will need to fit your own captive nuts if you want complete originality or just use screws and nuts.
