If the link doesn't work for any reason, search 'car manual morris minor convertible', as it isn't listed in the cars for sale section.

This very rusty, early 1951, short bonnet/high headlight tourer fetched £466.67 in the ebay sale.
A big job, but it would be great if it is rebuilt and survives.

Good luck with it! I admire you for giving it a go.
Let the MM register have the car 'chassis' number from the bulkhead plate to add to their records. A reg number too, if you know it.

Your classic number will be hand stamped ( not level) on the bulkhead below where the plate was . I don't mean directly below but below in that area. Check and you will find it. Maybe someone else can give you a better description of the hand stamping than I can

Best of luck with it, it will take more than a tin of T Cut!
Please let me have the details of the car for the Register. Can you find the number on the engine compartment bulkhead?

The engine number appears to be there, stamped on the top of the block next to the head, l/h side of your photo.
You appear to have the NMP plate with numbers on it and another small body plate on the bulkhead on an earlier photo. Clean them up and note them.
Stamped number on bulkhead for car chassis number should be covered in paint, but somewhere behind the hoses and to right of bonnet pull rod on your photo. Careful cleaning off of paint should find it.
Then it's a case of trying to trace the reg number from the numbers you have!

After a revision the engine numbers on top can be gone.
But on the side is a small copper plate, also with the number, and sometimes the number is stamped on a different place.
I have 2 engines without the number on top, and my original engine had the number perfect before the revision.
After, it is still readable, but not perfect any more.
