The Lucas steering colum indicator switch is the largest pain to repair in the world.
I have about 5 in the roundtuit pile.
I will try to write a bit of a guide (unless there is one on a thread here already) about how it can be done.
It is a mix of mechanical parts - return springs etc, the insulation block and the actual wiring routing,
But if anyone knows how to remove and repair the far end black plastic housing externals and internals I would like to know.
Also there were some differences in the connections and wiring loom finishes over the years 9and the holding bracket i have found differs too )
For the electrical connections you will need a good quality soldering iron, and solder, along with some mini clamps to hold the bits in place.
