vacuum pipe

Hi has anyone got any advice. I have noticed a small residue of petrol at the distributor end of the pipe that comes from the carb to the vacuum and if I take it off and blow down it a little comes out, is this ok ? The vacuum is new and working. I was checking the pipe because I've had a little bit of hunting when idling and wondered what it may be thanks.
