Any one help ,with the size of the bolts holding the large gearbox floor cover , there are a few missing on mine.I would like to have them all fitted ,when I come to that point. Why Morris used so many different sizes of threads I will never know. But then ,working for British Leyland for 12 years ,nothing surprises me.

Same thread on these bolts - long ones go into the floor, short ones into the toeboard - ensure ALL captive nuts are "captive" BEFORE fitting cover.
Grease threads AND underside of washers.

The brass screws are 1/4 bsf from memory, as with most other fixings on the Morris, engine wise unf/ unc.

I can confirm that they are 1/4 bsf, as I cleaned mine out, someone had used self tappers in some of them and I managed to salvage them all by running a tap through.

To clarify, there are only four long ones. These are used in the holes that line up with the gearbox cross member.
