Ignition coil

Maybe a weird question, how many kV should a good ignition coil in a Moggy do? I replaced my old one (which did 15 kV) with a new universal one (which does 24kV) And how many Ohm should the primary and secondary coil(?) do?

My spare coil reads 2.9 Ohms and 5.5 kilohms

She runs ok on long distance,but I need to set my valves now... So the coil is ok, as long as your points etc is ok

Which is probably unsuitable for a Minor....

I am changing it back tonight, the idle is horrible, but that's the valves too, my olde Lucas coil is going back on!
