I went to see someone yesterday to get some bits for my 1928/9 cowley and he had 2 cars (as well as lots of parts) he was selling because he no longer uses them.
He had a very very nice Morris ISIS in Black/Maroon (I think he said 1932) absolutely ready to use. Lovely looking car! Didn't ask how much.
There was also a 1930 flatnose cowley (he called it his trials car, mainly because the body was cut down). It was complete, but the front end bodywork and engine is removed. The engine was a bit rough (so he removed it!) - hence the front being taken off. He will supply with another engine and a lot of spares. He is looking for 6K for it (which sounds like good value to ne). He said its a good starter car for VSCC trailing. In my opinion a couple of weekends would see it back on the road.
He is selling the cars because they are starting to get a bit much for him
This guy isn't a trader, but has amassed a huge amount of spares etc over his lifetime and he is starting to get rid of it all before its too late!
He's near Monmouth. If you are interested I will pass his details on.
