Traveller cab roof repair/replacement

Long story short there's a hole in the (steel) cab roof and thin areas. The previous miscreants used copious amounts of filler, which of course is "structural". ;)

Is it possible to get a decent quality roof to weld in place, or are we looking at a lot of fabrication?

Cheers,

Nick

I assume you mean the steel cab roof - and not the aluminium rear part? I suspect you will need to cut a roof from a scrapper and weld it in.... In fact I have a complete roof/windscreen/bulkhead section hanging up in my garage - but I'm a long way away from you. Hopefully someone nearer will have something suitable. Otherwise careful panel beating - but it's a very visible complex curve area and I know I wouldn't be able to do it!!

Suppose no one has anything more local (anywhere south of Birmingham basically) or one for a Traveller? Otherwise, a massive thanks to Roy and I'll have a weekend trip to Scotland.

I will be emailed some pictures later today of the condition.
