Oh my goodness!!!! I live in Garboldisham and frequently use to visit Terry. We often use to work on his cars together, I always joked that I'd help him finish the four door and take him to a national in it!
When I received the news of his passing I tried to get in contact with the family, unfortunately they were less than interested in my help. If there's anyway to get in contact with you that would be brilliant, I'd love to see the cars that I learnt so much from! :)

Trying to find the registration of the pickup, it dates to early 1964.

99% certain it carried a "B" suffixed registration number - purchased from Diss.

The chassis number prefix is MAU5, so an original pickup not a converted van - cab & engine numbers match for 1/64.

If this looks familiar to anyone please contact either Jim or myself.

Thanks
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

He had two chassis and engines, one of which he put together into that one, the other left spare I believe :)

Terry did give me a folder full of old Morris documents and old AA and reg stuff, this was at the time he was thinking of selling me the four door, so I'll have a look through in case there's anything interesting in it!

.....the owner at one time lived 3 doors down road from me, and he was my friends father in law at one point. I have seen the saloon being MOT'd at the garage I use....not much help really.

Did you find anything in that paperwork - any registration numbers scribbled down - anything to help us trace the pickup's original registration?
