Hi all
New to forum so Hi!

Have a 71 traveller. Rear gutters are bent so would like to either repair or replace. Question is: how do you re,one and how do you replace. Assume they must be riveted or something similar?

Many thanks

Matt

If gutters are bent, is it actually worth replacing ? ( maybe straighten a bit around a wooden dowel former?)
To my mind the Traveller is a a working car, and the odd knock to the roofline is not a big problem to the useability/drivability of the standard car.

Hi Whyperion

I think that as the rest of the car is undergoing respray etc., would be a shame not to do this bit as well. I think it would draw my eye and get on my nerves otherwise :-?

Sorry. Can't seem to find a picture of the gutters. Assume they are preformed? Cheers

Fantastic info on link. Thank you! Have decided to replace and have the new gutter. Should galvanised nails or similar be used?

Thanks

Matt

If you are going to do it properly I would order the correct pins from a supplier. Give ESM/Bull Motif or Steve Foreman (Woodies) a ring. They will usually just pop them in a small packet and send them in the post. Using the wrong size may distort the guttering and you will be back to square one. :D
