Hi all,

Just joined the forum - but have been a moggy owner for a while, so wanted to say hi!

A bit of background. I run a mail order craft beer company - Ales By Mail and a couple of years ago we had a brain storm about making our warehouse in Essex stand out by putting an old GPO Moggy on display.

I was lucky enough to find one and purchase it. Since then, it has been sitting, under wraps, close by waiting for the right time to start the process of restoring the van to it's former glory.

Today we moved it from storage into our warehouse to begin assessing the restoration needs.

Over time, our purpose for restoring the van has changed - and we've decided to get it back on the road, but with a twist.

We're going to kit it out so it can dispense craft beer at events and the like, as well as being a great promotional tool for the company, we want to treat the old girl with respect and get her back into service.

Look forward to talking with and updating you all on progress. Menatime, here's a before shot :-).

Sounds great, perhaps when done you can come and dispense real ale at the national.
It would great to have it there, plus allot of people camp over anyway, so no need to worry about drink driving!
Best wishes, I look forward to a real pint!! :D :D
Mike.
