The Morris "Brotherhood"

A little while ago a lady approached me in a Tesco car park. Said her father had sadly passed and amongst his possessions was a box of assorted car bulbs. Instead of throw them away she waited and kept them in her car until she saw the first person in a Morris. I believe her father had once owned one. I've heard similar stories before and the act touched me. I'd be interested to hear of anyone else's experiences.
I'll attempt to upload a pic (my first ever on here). I have no idea what the bulbs are.

We live in a small close and word has passed around that we are "Morris people". We have arrived home many times to find carrier bags in the porch with all kinds of car bits and bobs in from kind people who have had them in the past and hope we can use them. We have used some and passed other parts to various members of our branch.

I'm quite envious, I wish people would leave bags of Morris Minor parts (or even a complete car) on my doorstep!!
Best wishes,
Mike.

Most round here have Mercs for some reason, so I'm more likely to get a carrier bag of food left on the doorstep.

I once worked in a bank and an elderly lady always remarked on my black minor being the same as her first car, she brought me in its handbook and an old AA badge. I was parked at my Aunts once and the door rapped, and one of her neighbours gave me 2 nice new sealed beam headlights. Driving down a road one day I had headlights flashed at me and I pulled in, chap said would you like a manual, follow me home! My brother was telling a work colleage about the minor and he arrived next day with a carpet set that had been in his loft for 20+ years! Im sure there have been a few other things over the years, people are very generous
