So sorry to hear Charles Ware has passed on. He kept Morris Minors in the conscious of the British public. Bought one off him myself many years ago,a Rose Taupe Saloon. Had a good chat with him in his office, with our Daughter,Nicola,on my knee. He tried to get me to upgrade to Disc brakes,Marina Engine. Sorry,Charles, then,as now, a Morris Minor, should be a Morris Minor Pleased to have shook your hand.! See you up there.

I'm very sorry to hear that, his contribution to world of Morris Minors has been huge. His other contribution to preserve the city of Bath shouldn't be forgotten either. My thoughts are with Zac and his family as well as all at the MM Centre.

As a Mancunian,I'm not totally up to spec with what Charles has done for Bath, but would love to learn.
I visited Bath, some twenty five years ago,it's a great place. But, I guess his legacy will be what he did for Minors,
as well as Bath.

A great man without whose enthusiasm for the Minor, and foresight into the future, many of our cars simply would have been scrapped. He made it possible for us to simply ring a supplier and order a part. R.I.P.

Very sad news indeed. I'm sure he will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on.

We had a chat with him when Gill's van was down there. Great guy.

Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time, from all at mmoc West Yorkshire branch. His name is synonymous with morris minors and will continue to be so for years to come, RIP .

Such sad news. I had the pleasure of meeting Charles twice over the years. First when I was a teenager in Bath and the latter many years later at Stanford Hall 60th anniversary rally. I remember his buying advice he gave me back when I was a youth with lots of enthusiasm but very little knowledge of minors.

My dad had the pleasure of meeting him many times and rebuilt two moggy's during the late 70s early 80s with most parts purchased via Charles Ware. I don't think we can underestimate the importance one man had on the preservation of the minor we all love and use today.

A very interesting and helpful man, he was Mr Morris Minor...he will be missed R.I.P
