I have just had my renewal in for Breakdown Cover @ £140 (quite a jump from last year) anyway, I went to their website and found the same cover was available for a few pounds less!
Also my renewal made no mention of MMOC discount?
I rang them (0844 number)! and the lady suggested that to obtain discount I needed a 'discount code' from the club. I explained that on previous occasions I have quoted my membership number to obtain discount.
I was put on hold and when she came back told me that a discount code had been applied (bringing it down to £106) but I would need a code for my next renewal.
Anyone experienced discount codes for Breakdown services?

Re: RAC Breakdown Cover
Try this when your next re-newel is due let it laps then re apply as a new customer you should get a cheaper rate for being a new customer did that recently with my insurance. Over a £70 increase on last year didn't re-new before it ran out rang them the following day as a new customer got the insurance for £42 less than I paid last year. Not giving any names.

Re: RAC Breakdown Cover
With the AA but also found renewal expensive. Rang and said it was dear and they knocked 25% off. See if it works again next year.
