National Rally: On-The-Door Booking

Hi,
I have not been able to book for the national rally in advance due to not knowing if I can definitely make it.
I've left it too late to send away the booking forms, does anyone know if on-the-door bookings are definitely accepted? (Or is there a chance I'd get turned away?)
Thanks,
Albert

You will be able to pay on arrival (that's what I'm doing this year). No one gets turned away

I too am going on Saturday, (paying on the door) very early from North Sheffield, happy to travel with anyone (safety in numbers and all that) if anyone is passing Barnsley area at 7am poss 7.30am ish. I plan to do a steady 55 behind a lorry with stops every 40 min !

I havent managed to prebook for similar reasons - good to hear we can get in no problem. Will I then be able to park up my minor with its kinfolk in the rally area or will I have to leave him all ostracised in public parking ?

Hi Adam
You'll be able to park as normal with the other minors whether you pre-book or pay on the gate - just folk like me who'll be ostracised for turning up in a Toyota (due to various issues) lol

I'm not bothered how you arrive Roger, just don't bring your silver lurex catsuit with you!

Thanks for the information.
One last thing, if I book on the door, do you think camping pitches would still be available?
Thanks

Yes, weather isn't looking great. This must be the worst year ever for poor weather, I just hope I don't get another wiper motor failure on the way down like the one on Sunday.

The forecast for tomorrow is dry, sunny and feeling warm but brollies needed for Sunday. Typical National weather - sunscreen & kagoule required
