Sometimes I find it a shame not being able to respond to posts in the cars for sale section, initially done to avoid rude replies. The easy option of " keeping the whole class in after school" seems to prevail, rather than just giving the offenders detention.

No, it was just one I wanted to pass a positive comment on, regarding his/her thoughtfulness but alas can't.

Yes I know but rather takes the spontaneity aspect away though, especially if it's only a small issue and not a big deal, what I had to say would not warrant a pm. Would have been nice just to add to the thread.

I agree Les it's a daft rule.
