To answer the questions posed in topic http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=60206

Valued, but by whom?

The wipers, indicators, and air filter all suggest that it is NOT a 1959 car. Either it's been seriously updated, or the registration number has been transferred.

Some idiot will buy it, more money than sense!

It has a 1959 chassis plate, therefore it IS a 1959 vehicle - body plate prob
says it's a 1968 2dr - but few check BEFORE handing over the money!

Must hurry up with me booklet as it'll come in handy for buyers....

Also, the starter is by solenoid rather than pull switch; and the light/wiper switches are later. I'm not syaing that it's not a nice car, just that it's not a 1959 vehicle. BTW, I started this thread simply because there was no reply button on the original, but I see that there is now/ Ah well :-?

Just tried to look at this and the topic link has gone !!
I posted a while ago about an ebay advertised 1959 mog that clearly wasn't and it was removed from ebay by the seller I assume. Might have just sold it privately maybe.
