modern seats

Hello you all,

does anybody know what seats are suitable for a Morris Traveller?
My girl friend really like head rests......
I know the Newton Commercial seats, but they are quite expensive.
And I heard about seats from
Mazda 121 or MX5, Ford Fiesta and KA, Saab 900, Rover 75
or Alfa Romeo seats !!!!
Is this all right???
I want the seats to fit into a classic car, not too modern!
Unfortunately I need a dark red interior for a black Traveller.

Any advices???

Yes those seats are right I think ka is the best seats as there smaller than alot of the others meaning there's still alot of space around the interior but you can't get red sadly maybe cloth with red patterns but you can get cream or black leather which is it the best to go for and should bolt in with very very little work

I changed the original once against seats from a MG - it´s enough space and it was a 5 hours job for welding the bracket. It fits perfect and now it´s a pleasure to sit in die car. If there´s a little bit money I will change the colour of the leather to maroon.

Nice car Dirk,
I have the leather Newton Commercial seats installed. The base supplied is a bit flimsy and the access to the rear is somewhat inhibited-otherwise nice and comfy.
