Can anyone help me on what sun visor I require?
My original convertible has no sun visor, and there seems to be no locating holes, etc where one was originally placed.
Do I have to purchase a clip on?
Any advice would be great.[frame]Image[/frame]

I'm no expert but looking at images on Google it looks like the same ones fitted to saloons were used on convertibles. Depending on how old some had the centre hinge type while others used the end fixings, a lot simply didn't have any. Maybe they were an option.

Originally, and upto about 1964, convertibles didn't have them fitted (goodness knows why not). Sunvisors from a saloon of the same age will fit if you get some with the centre hinge. I think once the later "crushable" visors were intruduced and the top rail was altered, they were fitted to saloon AND convertible as standard.

Here's some photos of the home made sunvisors on my convertible. Covered in black leatherette and quite easy to DIY. I wish I had made them slightly smaller.
