How do you upload an avatar from you computer, I just can't get the hang of it

And does anyone know how to add you MSN messenger to your profile, I am an absolute nut when it comes to computers (another reason for buying a minor, no nasty computers)

If you mean the avatars at the side of the posts (under your name) then I don't think they are activated on this site. We tend to put links to pictures in our signatures instead.

Aaaaaargh! Whose turn is to explain? Try a search (on this site) for 'pictures', there's some fairly long threads on the subject

put the following line in your signature:
But replace the http://homepage.ntlworld.com/cameron.sh ... vatar4.jpg with your own weblink. Obviously your picture has to be uploaded somewhere on the internet for you to link to it!

Don't worry - this board, like most other boards, uses silly code which isn't quite HTML... so it's harder than it would normally be

Can you recommend any site for doing this uploading stuff, as mine seems to have gone bankrupt. A site for free naturally...
