My 59 Morris has just suffered multiple electrical failures on the wipers, the fuel gage( constantly showing full) heater and indicators, surly these can have failed simultainiously? But the two fuses I can see look fine? Anyone have any advice?

A Minor is such a simple car that it's sure to be a simple fix. All the items you mention are run through the same fuse. If the fuse looks OK it'll be a mucky fuse holder. Remove the fuse and clean up the fuseholder. Better still buy a new one in the longer term. Then carry on and enjoy your car .

Agree, clean up the fuse holder contacts first. But don't trust glass fuses if they look okay, they might not be. Buy a couple of new ones, they're cheap enough and you then have spares if the old ones prove to be good.

You shold have two spare fuses in the fuse holder
