number plate light

hi all
just checking what type of number plate light my 1960
morris should have it has a chrome(reproduction ) one at the moment should it be a black type?

I don't believe they were ever 'chrome' in Production.........

"Original Morris Minor" P.124 shows black numbr plate light. P.17 says that the chrome cover was available as an accessory
