Hello to all of you, I have looked in on the forums as reference many times in the last few years, I have a 1958 traveller in ok condition but i plan to overhaul it bit by bit so i thougth it was about time i joined and posted from now on, Heres my traveller

I am not looking to change it alot as i like it as standard, all i need is a reliable engine and good brakes, show winning paint jobs are not my thing i prefer a of its time and age look, Rob

I shall prob. get told off by someone for saying so, but it is my opinion that you have more fun using them than polishing them (apologies to the concours forum).

It looks grand! Don't think you have much work to do there... And yes - enjoy the car - polishing just wears out your wrists.........

That looks very smart to me

. Just carry on looking after it (assuming the bits we can't see are OK!).
Travellers of that age are quite rare now.

Thanks all, The bits you cannot see are a few old weld patches not done great and the wood work is average, it has had a few repairs but for original wood it is quite useable, and thanks John Naylor i keep my workshop/garage tidy as i have the OCD thing going on

Thanks Adrian J F, i think we need a few good days of weather and we can all get out and enjoy the roads, or holding up the traffic in my case

Hi smithskids, a traveller is nice but on a warm day i would love to be cruising in your lovely convertable, Happy motoring is always done best in a convertable.

A traveller is better than a saloon on a hot day though.......On hot days we've slid all the windows open on the traveller and enjoyed great air flow! Took our traveller right down to the mediterranean once and stayed cool in the car provided we kept moving of course!
