Wasn't me but I was seriously thinking of replacing my 'modern' with a Landcrab. The Minor will do everything except pull our caravan and would be useful for motorway journeys (had enough of computer-ridden moderns). I suppose we are a bit spoiled with Minors for club support and spares availability. Always loved the 1800's.

I think the Landcrab club do quite a good spares service.
I've had three over the years, all 2200 versions for some reason - just what turned up really. Two Morris 2200s and a Wolseley Six. Lovely cars to drive with a surprising turn of speed! Another gear would have been nice though as I think the 6 cylinder ones used the same final drive ratio as the 1800s so 1st gear was a little superfluous unless towing...
I'd still have another though if one turned up in the right place, right time etc.
cheers

The spares service for them through he club is very good. The club is very friendly too, possibly friendlier than other owners' clubs, dare I say it!! My landcrab is a great car for the family although being a 6 isn't quite as economical as a Minor
