Hi folks
The potteries database shows that Highway yellow cars had a blue coach-line. Any ideas as to what shade of blue was used?
I have a can of Record Tools blue (think G-clamps and planes etc) that I will use if it's near the correct colour.
Thanks :-)

I would go with a shade like Trafalgar Blue

You're probably right about Trafalgar Blue - chances are it would be another standard colour used. Having said that, the Record Blue on such a thin line would look very dark so would look pretty much right. (I used to have a tin of Record Blue myself left over from experiments in the development dep. when I worked there, ooh, lots of years ago now! Got used for alsorts...)

Wow! Somebody else with a highway yellow car!! Can't remember what we did mine in, but I can find out if you still need to know. It should definitely be blue though, it's just which blue!

Turns out not to be Highway yellow, but more GPO van yellow!
A blue coachline would still however look good in my opinion.[frame]Image[/frame]
