Hole in boot floor.

Hi all,

Working In boot this evening and have a quick question.

As you look from the rear of the car, in the floor pan to the right of the differential 'cover' and just behind the rear baulkhead, there is a hole approx 1" diameter. Anybody know what this is for before we cover it up?

Thanks,

David.

Is it where the wiring harness comes through from underneath? With a grommet obviously...

Good question. I thought that the harness was all internal?

Just found an old thread here which explains that originally it did indeed run underneath. I definitely remember taking wires out from the internal roof valley, so I think we'll re-do it inside.

Thanks for reply BMC. :D
