Keeping the house clean

Borrwed idea from a Pub - where we all have good ideas!

Rather than walk all the mud/oil/dirt/paint/nitromors into the house, keep a couple of carrier bags by the door.

Put these on over your work shoes before going onto the best carpet. If you use the carrier bags with long handles you can tie them up as well.

Much much easier (and cheaper) then cleaning/replacing the carpet & good for domestic relationships.

ps for the fussy, keep a stock in the car for the passengers!

Good idea! But I remove my footwear if I come into the house....... Still get dirty marks on the light switches though!!
