Been on here for a week or so and am waiting my MMOC membership. Thought i'd add a picture of my newest member of the family (who is also in fact the oldest ). Not sure if he's been on here before with previous owners, maybe you'll recognise him. So MMOC messageboard viewers meet 'Boris'. 1959 2 door with servo discs , 5 speed box, gas adjustable suspension, 1275 engine, big bore twin box exhaust. This is how I purchased him a few weeks ago and as he is staying for the near future (due to other projects). He'll be used on a semi regular basis ie 3 or 4 times a week and already is turning heads on each outing. Not to everyones taste I know (I too like cars as they were built) but it was a friend of a friend deal and he didn't really have time to use or look after poor old Boris hence I said i'd look after him !! and add him to my list of cars to look after..[frame]Image[/frame]

Looks grand to me - no tacky 'extras'... What wheels are these ?

The thing is, if there is a car that has a shape that suits lowering slightly and the fitment of wider wheels, its the Morris Minor.
Thats also a very nice paint job, I believe the phrase in vogue is "sympathetically updated".
Very nice and welcome along.

Looks well done with a good attention to detail and the mods do make it more useable in daily driving.

Happy Minoring!

The wheels are Compomotive, first job is to sort his engine mounts as they are too hard and also the engine/gearbox sits a little too high (maybe more forgiving mounts up front will help). He needs a bit of fettling lets say and looks better in the pic than he actually is, but over all for his age he's a tidy old Boris.
