Hello All, Traveller Woodwork again.
Does anyone know where I can buy some second hand woodwork or is it so rare that I should forget it? I only need a few bits, well two rear posts one front post and a couple of other bits along the side, I refuse to give in to the temptation to buy complete sides or a whole new frame, or alternatively has anyone access to drawings so that I can make new bits? I am trying to do all of the work myself, a pride thing, that and a lack of money thing.

Keep an eye on eBay. I have seen sections go on there in pretty good condition or nearly new for very little money.

I think you can buy individual bits from a lot of the standard suppliers too.

I would not try to make them yourself as some of the shapes are quite intricate and it's much easier (and cheaper timewise) to get them made to exacting standards.

Maybe someone else on here can help you too with 2nd hand bits.

New rear posts are about £80 each (from memory) so if you see some on e-bay, don't go overboard.
Woodies (S T Foreman) has a good reputation for his stuff - They do refurbishment as well as supply and/or fit of new stuff so they may also have some secondhand. There are other places to try as well for new stuff.
