Seat preservation

Post by hornmeister2000 »

Hi,

does anyone have any ideas to make seats last a bit longer? I reconditioned the driver's seat on Naomi about a year ago with bits from a Minor place and already the straps are cutting into the foam. I'm not even that heavy!

Any advice would be appreciated...

Maybe a thin bit of ply might firm things up a little.

Having just done mine, I didn't buy the recc; seat foam, seemed a bit flimsy..I put heavy duty foam in for half the price, havn't used it yet but must be better than the thinner stuff.
