If you have paid your subscription, you should be receiving the club mag in the post bi-monthly.

As above, "Minor Matters" is the Club's mag. As you have joined, you will get a copy of the current issue (March/April) shortly. There used to be another commercial magazine published monthly, but that ceased quite a while ago. What car do you have?

Have a look in the search facility and you will find most things covered

Good luck with searching for a car - you've made a good choice in what you want

. When it arrives, have a read through the mag - there is a merchandise page where you should find a buyers guide, and also a classified section with cars for sale. Then of course, there is this site; and a network of local branches. There is also a Moggie Fest at Beaulieu 16/17 May and a National Rally near Scarborough at the end of June. Both events will give you plenty of knowledge and vehicles to look at.

Yes,I doubt that there's a more sensible Classic car around. Totally practical and with 'minor ' tweaks' quite usable as a daily driver. Find a good one, look after it and it will be fine. Mind you a good Beetle is an interesting alternative. I've got both and struggle to decide which I prefer. Both iconic and with good parts availability, though the VW parts tend to be better quality. The minor handles better though and it's British!
