Young children in Minors

My friend wants me to take her 3 year old grandson to a Railway and Classic Car show in "Tapitha" my 2 door Minor in July. I have no experience of young children and I am sure there must be all kinds of regulations regarding carrying children in cars. I only have front seat belts. I know that many of you must take children in your Moggies and I should be grateful for advice so I don't break the law or put the boy in danger.
Thanks,
Mike

The law says that a child three years old and over can travel in the rear of a car if seat belts are not fitted, so it's entirely up to you as long as they are old enough. At least your car hasn't got any rear doors they can open

I believe that technically in the back seats where seat belts are not fitted it is still legal. I presume that is without an adult in the back seat as well.
In the front seat a booster seat should be used with belts I think.
