Hi All,
My seies 2 is nearly complete , the dash has been resprayed (gold) and the carets are new.
The seats , whilst being in good condition are very dull and need feeding, what is the best method? the sets are red.

Wish I knew Mike, I've got the same issue with my A30 seats and no-one seems to have a definitive answer.

I recently purchased a 61 minor with red leather seats. And also needed to soften and clean them, I was advised to use the below. And I would strongly advise it too. Brilliant stuff, so good I used it on the seats, panel trims and even the head cloth and sunvisors. They came up a treat. Cheap to buy too.

Then apply it with these sponges below. Wet the sponge first, cover sponge with the soap, rub firmly into material, then dry it off with an old clean towel.

Having researched this a while back when renovating the red leather seats in my ’57 4 door and grey leather seats in my ’58 traveller, Gliptone Liquid leather came with many good reviews.
I tried the cleaner and the conditioner and they are brilliant.
The red leather seats were hard and brittle in places as they had caught the sun over the years and had “dried out”. The leather conditioner has transformed them.
They have regained their suppleness and shine. You will need to reapply the conditioner a number of times, depending on how neglected the leather is.
Very pleased with the results. Highly recommended!
