You'll get sent one when you next renew your subscription (or take out a new one). My subscription ran out at the end of January and I received the tax disc in the same envelope as my new membership card.

Just got mine today. Quite a nice idea I thought. Might have to buy another one for the other Morris.

With second class stamps costing over 50p it would cost too much to send the tax discs individually.

The 'tax discs' are 'personalised' as they are printed with individual membership numbers on them and the date that your membership is due to be renewed. They started to be issued with the January renewals. If anyone has received their new membership card through the post but didn't receive the tax disc please contact Liz Saxon at the office, stating your name and membership number, and she will look into this for you.

Its a nice idea, and I suppose it makes sense to do it with the renewals, though by Sep I may have got round to getting a repro period tax disc to go in the screen by then, but it could always go in another Minor. I tend to take these MMOC ideas with a pinch of salt these days as I never received the fabled 25year membership badge last year...
But its only a badge, and only a piece of paper

Why not order a reproduction tax disc from the year of your car's original registration, only £7.50 on Ebay.
Mine was registered on the Isle of Bute in Scotland and the disc was most likely issued at the Port Bannatyne Post Office in 1953.
Or just use your favourite beer bottle label cut to fit!
