Great Service from ESM

With the new rally season fast approaching and having already brought my Morris Minor out of its winter hibernation, I sent an order for a few bits and pieces to East Sussex Minors on the south coast. I placed the order at 1.25pm yesterday. The parts arrived at 12.20pm today. From order to delivery in a shade over 23 hours! Have to say I'm pretty impressed with that!! well done ESM :D

I've not found them too bad on that front, drivewasher. OK I think almost ALL of todays parts are nothing like the quality of original stock but as far as they go the stuff I have had from them has been pretty good by and large. :-)

I have used nobody else but esm for about 9 years. Amazing service including free delivery over £60 to here in Northern Ireland. Can't recommend them enough !!! ☺

Delivery is the one thong that lets them down - they use Parcelforce, and it's hard top imagine a less helpful courier. the driver is great, but "company policy" means that they will not leave packages, even when the delivery note says "no signature required", and a written authorisation and acknowledgement of risk is left for them to collect. All other couriers are really helpful, it's just this one company that seems to have a problem; and it's a shame that ESM (who otherwise provide excellent service) insist on using Parcelforce.

The majority of my experiences with ESM have been good, although I sometimes feel their delivery rates are a little steep for <£60.

Living about 45mins from Bull Motif is useful, very friendly folk. :)

It's good to have competition between suppliers. Keeps them all on their toes. We're lucky to have cars with a choice of suppliers, even if the new stuff they do is a bit iffy...at least it's reasonably cheap. Try finding bits for similar era cars at minor prices.

If I am expecting parts to arrive overnight (even to ni) from esm, I always leave a note on the door telling postman to leave any parcels at the rear of the house if there will be nobody in. Never had a problem in them leaving it.

I get also all my parts from them. Everything is perfect. Ok, the quality of the parts is sometimes not the best, but these are the bad parts from Asia the other shops sell also. The delivery to Germany is very fast.

you see, I know it was just a typo Simmit, because the i is next to the o on my keyboard too, but now all I can visualise is middle aged men in nothing but thongs that let them down serving on behind a motor parts counter, uuugh!

Bet the pigeons don't know where to look - and it's VERY dangerous to pick a cat up whilst wearing a defective thong :-?

Or should that be groin? I do love a good typo. Hope it's brought a few smiles, and not too many scarred (and indeed scared) imaginations.
