The quality of potatoes isn't what it used to be.

My engine has been unreliable since I fitted a cheap imported potato. :D

I wonder if, at the end of the journey - the potato will be nicely baked ? Or maybe just half-baked.........

The fluffy ones are brilliant for mopping up oil spills :)

And, of course, once the potato is redundant as a condensor, it can be cut in half and smeared on the screen for de-misting ;)

I recall some years ago my father's Minor convertible once broke down due to a failed condensor. The AA man didn't have the correct one, and was going to arrange to have the car towed, but I suggested fitting a random one that he happened to have in the patrol van on the outside of the distributor and it worked. :)

Of course any allotmenteer will tell you there are "early" "mid" and "late potatoes, so depending on which is used will the timing be affected?

And would a sweet potato make the engine run better?
