Done a quick search and haven't found any reference to the updated EU Directive from last year, so thought I'd paste the link to the DfT site below. Seems there's a possibility that all Morris Minor could soon be MOT exempted.

The EU Directive 2009/40/EC that the UK government used to introduce MOT exemption to pre-1960 'historic vehicles' in 2012, has been updated with 2014/45/EU, which allows member states to exempt vehicles older than 30 years old. The DfT is expected to launch a formal consultation on the GOV.UK website sometime this year.

Can't say I'm a fan of the MOT exemptions. I get my 1955 A30 done anyway.
