Nearly there!!!

Post by Heronwood »

After buying my series 2 (54) from E Bay last August things have moved forward.

Sha was garaged for 40years., numerous parts have been applied Inc. new trunions, drums, bearings, hubs, brakes, tyres, wheels, fuel tank.Phew….. full service …. rewired…..and now off to the spray shop for the penultimate jigsaw piece and then carpets , glove box and seat belts (my wife insists on these! and attempt ti dye the original headlining.

She is amazing to drive and amazing to look at (a real head turner) all in all she has set me back £3,500.00. as to what she is worth now has anyone got any ideas?

Photos to follow the spray job…….. Mike

Hello Mike. The "worth" of the car would depend, in part, on what the finished result looks like.
Any pictures yet?
Regards, George.
