when did they stopped with trafficators on all cars?

Post by TvdWerf »

Today someone told me, he had a 1955 CKD, 4 door splitscreen without trafficators.
As far I know the trafficators were also standard on later models, but in the service manual is a possibility for series 1000 without trafficators.
Is this one with removed trafficators, or still original?

Different countries had their own lighting regulations, for instance wiring diagram N29 shows a car with the Series MM/early SII inst.panel and the relay and flashing brake lights which were introduuced in UK which was probably the last country to change in 1961
