I reported an log book for a 1959 Traveller being sold on a well known auction site two days ago and it is still for sale. The interesting thing is that the seller has 11 for sale in total for various classics some with MOT certificates.
I know this is an old subject and as I understand it not illegal to sell old log books as memorabilia but sales seem to continue unabated despite peoples best efforts to stop it, so perhaps it's well passed the time it was made illegal.

It's the way of the world, there must uncountable vehicles on the road that are not what they started out as. The older the vehicle the more chance. That's why, unlike some owners I don't waive my numbers or personal details about for all to see!

DVLA take more heed of ancient rf60's than whether "numbers" match up!
Same sort of thing with chassis plates...blah blah
a brick Wall banging against my head, same words, different order.

Problem in some instances is bulkheads being repainted - usually in gloss - covering the stamped-in chassis number,
obviously scraping the paint off doesn't go down too well with owners/vendors!
Besides, how many Judges will deduct points for a legible chassis stamp?
I think Les hasn't noticed the £20 monthly standing order to POMM Holdings from his bank statement!
