The small hole on top of the float chamber should have a cover, right?[frame]Image[/frame]
Can someone send me a picture, so I can try to make it?

Thanks

It' s not a seal or anything like that - just a cover and not essential.

If I remember correctly the cover was fitted to stop any large/thick walled fuel pipe blocking the vent hole. The cover had a raised ridge running down its centre to provide the ventilation.
Attached is a schematic of the vent cover as I have been unable to find a satisfactory photo/illustration of the cover.
The fuel inlet pipe fitted through the hole in the vent cover and was stopped from rotating by the side walls. It was kept in place by the fuel pipe.[frame]Image[/frame]

Yep
That's the one. You can just make out the vent ridge running vertically down the middle of the cover in the 2nd photo :D

AUC1215 does not appear on the Burlen SU web site http://sucarb.co.uk/
Burlen are now the successor to SU carbs so it should have registered on there.

Well done in finding that - though I do find it strange that Burlen SU do not list it anywhere.
There are a few interesting bits relating to Minors and/or that could be used on a Minor featured in the rest of the minimania web site and is worth a look.
