Hi,
I need some seat brackets fabricated and being on the isle of wight i am not sure i trust their workmanship over here. Just wondering if anyone here has the skills to help me out, a fairly simple bracket and i can supply all drawings and dimensions etc. Obviously i would make it worth your while.
Cheers
Martyn

Hello Martyn,
who do you not trust, were you looking at local garages etc?
If it is basic steel fabrication why not try a small fabrication\steelworkers workshop. I would guess that larger outfits would not really want that sort of work but a one man band could be quite helpful.

Since being on the island we have used trimmers, spray shops and a supposed morris minor specialist and all have supplied what i believe to be sub-standard work. So I just thought it would be worth asking on here, if no one can help me then I will try to source a small fabricator. Oh happy days of life on the mainland when everything I needed was within walking distance!!!

Are there any boatyards on the IOW which carry out repairs etc.? One of them should have the capability to fabricate seat brackets to your specification.
