My heater in my moggie still blows more air in through the lower vent/lever area on the heater box even when the setting is on the screen,I have less blow to the screen.
Is there an adjustment or do I just put some sponge across the lower bit to try to transfer more blow to the screen?
I hope Im making sense :D  :o

I know what you mean, mine does the same :-? There is still just enough of a draught to clear the screen though but I might try your sponge idea.

This video shows you how to service the heater, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v75LjUrVaPE
Shows you how to replace the foam inserts which should help you.
Enjoy :D

I've seen small electric fans fitted in the heater vents, the sort normally used in PC's and such, which seems a very clever solution.

I have rebuilt my heater and still had the same thing happening. The rebuild with new foam did help though.
In the end I attached a plate over the lower opening, with smaller outlet holes. This forced more air to go to the screen when set to screen. The new outlet also directed the air to the side foot-wells and not straight at the gear lever.

I use a demister pad pushed up from the bottom opening to force more air out the top, its also a good way to dry the pad out after youve used it!
