Converting post 63 wiper system to pre '63 clap hands system

Hi all i have just discovered that my 59 mog is fitted with a post '63 wiper system instead of the proper clap hands system. The passenger side wiper works fine while the driver side will try to get into the bulk head if activated.
I would obviously want to change this system to the proper one. Is this achievable by changing the driver side wheel box to the proper pre '63 one or shall i have to change the whole system?

I thought it was just a matter of turning one wheelbox the other way up?I'm probably wrong though.

No its not possible cause if the wheelbox is turned upside downthe worm wont fit properly under the bulk head
ive tried it :/

The driver side wheel box should start in anti clock wise motion.. and its starting in a clock wise manner, the Guys at ESM said its a matter of changing the wheelbox to post '63 type.
I'm going to try this!!
Anyone has a post 63 driver side wheelbox for sale pls?

I very much doubt fitting a 'post 63' wheelbox will sort it - that's what you seem to have already!! Maybe a PRE 63 will sort it....

What nobody seems to have mentioned is that on the parallel wipe system the wiper spindles are offset to the right

Yes I guess that that is automatically post 63 car then!
