The after market Anti Roll Bar (Mr Grumpy's?) fitted to my car has a damaged pick up bush holder. Car had a side swipe which made a bit of a mess to the bush retaining wall. Also, to get the thing out from the tie bar fitting it shares was only possible with a very large hammer - si the thread is pretty marmalised and (can't see it in the picture), but the stud is also bent. It looks as if the stud is a machined part welded to the bush cup. Anyone recognise this? could I get a replacement?

We have the same antiroll bar fitted. The original was supplied by Owen Burton, and when they finished, ESM seem to have taken on many of their parts, including the antiroll bar. ESM will also supply a polyurethane bush to replace the original rubber one - tightens up the front quite nicely.

When you replace the bush, make sure that the open end of the housing faces the back of the car, otherwise the rubber or poly bush can work its way out of the open housing end! With the back closed off, the bush can't move very far forward as the bar itself increases in size just in front of the housing to stop it.

ESM also supply the green split bushes that are mounted on the chassis rails.

Thanks. Do you mean open end facing forward and partially closed end facing rearwards? That's how it came on my car. And, yes I've got the green polyurethane chassis mounts on mine.

That is definitely what I meant, but not what I said in the first part of the reply!! Closed (ish) end facing the back and open end at the front! Could blame jet lag, but probably not very likely on the short flight from Cork to Heathrow last night.
