Hi all,

it's been a long time since I have been on here, after a long time taken to get the respray done (2 years almost) I have justed started the rebuild on my 56 split screen first problem, I have purchased a new wiring loom with alterations for indcators and alternator connections does any one know of a wiring diagram to suit that loom to year of car if you know what I mean ?? I am okay with lights and indcators etc it's the voltage regulator / ignition side of things I need to sort out with the new loom

Thanks
John

Did whoever made the loom not supply you with a schematic diagram of the modifications? I would expect that at the least as its a deviation from standard.

As you are fitting an alternator you won't need the voltage regulator, it serves with a alternator as a junction box, the ignition side should be standard. The two wiring diagrams at the head of this section should be able to allow you to fit and wire up the loom.

When I had my custom looms made the terminals were labled with ID tags. Lay the loom on the floor and identify all the terminals before fitting. There may be a separate section across the boot floor
