Any idea of what code or something id need to buy one from halfords?
Stupidly threw the old one away!

My screw in conversion came with a filter and at same time I serviced the rest of the engine so this is my spare one hope it helps

Halfords screw in oil filter reference is HOF203, they are the ones that fit the mini.

There is a whole range of screw on filters you can fit so long as the centre screw is the same the Fram PH966B is 3/4" x 16 TPI.
