Cant recall seeing a pic of a pre 1960 traveller.Am I right to assume they had semaphore indicators at the top of the B post?
Thx

trafficators were discontinued in august 1961 and yes, 4 doors and travellers had them mounted high up on the b post

Here is a picture of a Series 2 traveller that I took at Kelmarsh and as has been stated you can see the semaphore at the top of the B post.

Was tempted to view this but there seems to be a lot of areas that arent correct for the year.I appreciate over the years engine changes etc but no semaphores, seats look wrong,no claphands etc etc

Probably to be bought by an enthusiast who has NO idea about
change points and is drawn by the MoT exempt carrot!

That's the sad thing about it....

Well the owner has an MOT?And cant be that savvy how the exemption works as he says "can be made mot exempt",its simply a matter of not bothering to retest when its due.

Alan, don't you ever feel homesick, have the urge to wave a teatowel about
and shout "Ole!", not even the slightest temptation to throw tomato's along
the streets of Sunderland?

Alan if your car is pre 1960 you don't NEED an MOT to comply with the law.

I need now to weld inner wing as it only has one wing and then i need to finnish off the welding underside and then more red oxcide and more hammeright.

Is it ok to weld the inner wing and fix to the old wood and then change to new wood after? can the old wood be in the wrong place?
also the wood under the backside doors i want to change can i remove this without the corner posts?

Do you have a problem with Finland, would you REALLY paint the Finnish peoples' coats in black Hammerite?

So glad you have a sense of humour - some on here wouldn't recognise harmless banter even if it was disguised as a 10ft rabbit, bent over and farted in tune to Madness' House of Fun!
