Van exhaust

Post by Bungo »

Greetings everyone.
I have recently changed from a traveller to a van. Got round to doing the exhaust as it had seen better days, so ordered a stainless one.
Dropped the old one off easily. :-?
On looking at the new one I can't figure out how it will fit at all. Have I been sent the wrong one?
If not, please can someone help me out with the route it should take. I have tried every way I could and despite grazed knuckles, arms and underseal had no success!
Help! :(
Many thanks

Hi,
if its the same as my van it should run along the chassis and then turn and go across the middle of the van and come out on the other side. I will put up a pic if needed, your exhaust in the photo does look a bit odd for a van, but then they do make them now in three bits.
Having had another look at the photo that does look like a saloon exhaust.

Update.

The wrong exhaust got picked up last week, and I finally received the correct one today! :D

It all seems to go on nicely. Just got to sort out the mounting of the bracket where the end of the exhaust is in front of the drivers side rear wheel. Present one is a dangly one from the floor above and is too wobbly.

Anyone got any pictures of where to mount it please?

Thanks everyone for your help.
