Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi, I have just joined MMOC, I live in Somerset, I don't own a minor yet, looking to get one towards the end of the year beginning of next, I own an 1958 Austin A35 and a 89 Renault 5 and a 1997 Audi A6. If anybody has got any advise about buying would be much appreciated.

Oh we don't allow any Austin owners on here.......just kidding! Welcome to the forum! Owning these cars you will know to worry more about body condition than mechanical condition..... Unfortunately cars 'For Sale' on here now (often by far the best chance of getting a good one) are not open to discussion - but if you do want advice on a particular car you can open a thread in this section which will then be open to discussion/advice from longterm owners.

Plus it's worth joining your local branch as it will give you a chance to look over some Minors and learn what to look out for, plus someone may be able to look over any potential purchases for you as it's difficult to give an accurate opinion based on a couple of photos.
